i am so excited with our do-it-yourself projects! i have tons of ideas! but to avoid preempting everything, all the efforts put into the projects, i will not post photos. so good luck in trying to decipher my explanations of each project, i will try to be visual and vivid about it but again, good luck on that. hehe!
i am taking the lead on the invitations. it is so awesome, i still can't believe i am able to craft such a unique and technical invite! haha! see, the invite is all about helping us 'tie the knot'. literally speaking. there will be a knot, the technicality of it all lies in the loops and holes where the string is supposed to pass so that when you pull it into a knot, our cartoon selves (yes! for the record, i drew our cartoon selves! one whole weekend of laborously sketching and trying all my might to capture how we really look like but im not a sketch artist or a painter so whatever i made would have to suffice.).. anyway, where was i? oh! our cartoon selves will be 'pulled together'. again, the technicality of folding so that our cartoon selves would join in the middle of the invite was such a feat, that up until now, i am amazed that i was able to do. needless to say, i am so proud of myself because it started as an idea and well now, its real.
the main prototype is already finished but there are still a few pages and inserts that i need to design and make. im thinking i need to have it patented! hahaha!
moving on.
tim is in-charge of our escort thingies.. the one that informs the guest where they are supposed to be seated. its like a seat plan. we wanted an intimate event so only family and close friends will be invited.
that is all for now.
happy weekend!
