1st day of november, my birthday month! i have a full month ahead.
i will be going to korea for the ASEAN training of trainers. yes, bumibig time na talaga ako. hahaha! i am also hoping to do some shopping for christmas gifts and entourage tokens.
right after my return home, tim and i will start working on our IELTS exam as needed for the assessment of our nominated occupation as we prepare for our migration. i fervently pray that everything works out..
we actually just got back from a family roadtrip to tagaytay. poor tim had to drive all the way.. he didn't even let me drive, kahit kapiraso lang. i will make it up to him
♥
and did you guys read his most recent post? i am soooo proud talaga! no pushing, no prodding.. initiative! he surprised me actually by posting, i didn't expect him to do that at all :) so yun, after we are done with my training and our exam, we will start our STD project. technically, we are still on time as we plan to send out our STDs by early next year. we are just a tad behind our timeline of booking a caterer but we will soon schedule our food tasting session with our top pick caterer by this month. hopefully, everything will run smoothly. please continue to pray for us as we plan and prepare for our life together as well as for our provisions.
ay last! my engagement ring was 'renewed'. we had this icky concern that the engagement ring will not match the wedding band. it seems silly, i know, but when you think about it, i will be wearing them for the rest of my life. they have to be perfect!
so we went to our jeweller to see what can be done. we first met up with our wedding ring supplier, vgem, they suggested a different design for the ring that will 'accommodate' my engagement ring.. like a puzzle. it proved to be a hassle since i need to give them my engagement ring for at least 2 weeks so they can work on the rings and they would fit with each other like a puzzle. i hate the thought of parting with my ring for such a long time.. but anyway, we still asked for a quotation and egad! we need to add more than what we budgeted.. so we had to park that idea for the moment.
and then we met with my engagement ring jeweller, tito boy. God bless him because he really is such a blessing to me and tim. at first he had some concerns with the engagement ring and just said the best option is to alter the wedding band since those are not yet made.. but when we informed him of how much we needed to add to make that happen, he talked to us on how he can alter my engagement ring so that there would be no need for us to change our initial contract with vgem. the best thing about the whole situation is that he did it for free! we left my ring with him and after 4 days, its done! i now have a 'new' ring. sidenote: he also quoted wedding rings that are basically the same design that we wanted and its cheaper by some thousands. that made us think.. did we prematurely booked our wedding rings? i mean, it was our very first supplier. we'll see. tim will discuss this with them pa. i leave this to him while i am away. :)
so that's all. happy halloween, all saints' day and all souls' day!
